Getting Started

MapManager is the software you use to download and manage the courses you use with your GolfDigestGPS device.

It’s easy to download GolfDigestGPS MapManager and register your device. Here’s how:


1.  The first thing you'll need to do is download & install the system drivers for MapManager. Click on the button or link below.

 When you see the download warning, click on "Run"

When downloading is complete, click on "Run"

This will launch the driver installation wizard. Follow the steps in the wizard to install the drivers.

On the last screen of the wizard, click on "Finish."

2: Next, download download MapManager to get started with GolfDigestGPS. Click on the button or link below.

 When you see the download warning, click on "Run"

When downloading is complete, click on "Run"

3: Open GolfDigestGPS MapManager by clicking on the desktop icon. Once open, connect your device via its USB cable to your PC. DO NOT turn the unit on. Note: Batteries do not need to be installed to load courses.

4: When prompted, enter your email address and a password to use for your GolfDigestGPS account.

5: Complete the Registration form and submit.

6 Map Search will open for you to search and select your two free maps by adding them to your shopping cart and checking out.  Your first two maps will appear as free maps in the shopping cart.  Additional maps can be purchased for an additional fee.

7: After completing your map purchase(s), your map(s) will appear in your GolfDigestGPS MapManager upper left maps window.  (You may need to select “View>Refresh” from the menu to see your newly downloaded maps.)

8: Select the maps you want to download to your device by checking the boxes before the name of each course and clicking the Download Maps button on the toolbar or by selecting the “File->Download Maps” menu item. Downloaded maps will appear in your GolfDigest GPS MapManager lower left device window.

9: You are now ready to begin enjoying your GolfDigestGPS!
